Sole Rider hats are handcrafted by Texas third-generation family hat makers and designed as Housey family heirlooms.
Embossed into the lining is a quote from Emily's grandfather, “Papa,” a WWII veteran:
“Did you behave yourself or did you have fun?”
A gold chickadee rests at the center of the phrase, representing her late grandmother — because, lord knows, nothing she ever said should be put in writing.
Each hat is made with the intention to inspire its owner to be as loving and generous as Edmund Housey, to see the world as beautifully as Judy Goodwin did, to carry her contagious optimism, and to embrace their shared belief that the best stories come from breaking the rules.
